Last summer Stern might as well have handed over the Larry O'Brien for '06, so this forum thought. 70 wins? Are you out of your mind?! They'll win 75!

What a difference half a season makes.

Check this vBookie from before the season. I think most people bet on 63-65. I think I bet on 60-62.

I never thought the Spurs would win close to 70. But I didn't think the Pistons would be in the running to do so either.

Actually he could be one of the 55 people who picked 63-65 .. they aren't all listed, just the top 20 bets in each selection.

Ummm hello???? I wasn't really thinking... I'm so used to seeing the button that says see poll results... but that doesn't show up 'till the bet is settled no???

Anyway, I forgot I could click on the actual categories....

And yes, I remember picking late...

I don't know if I bet, but I know my preseason prediction was 65 wins. They are on pace to do that and if they have a typical SA second half, they'll get more than that.

Sometimes if feels as though this ship is sinking, but then you have to realize the Spurs do have the 2nd best record in the league even while playing through many more injuries than the Pistons have.

I just checked and I picked 63-65 because of the 12/1 odds and it is possible. For Spurs to win 63 games they will have to win 29 games out of 38.

I think theyll win 32 of the next 38, judging from schedule and the usual spurs attack after the all-star break.
