I don't know if LJ was going to make a thread like this or not where someone can win a Spur if they guess the right score or not but I thought i'd make one.

Post your prediction on the score and MVP.

Pittsburgh 14

If you study all the stats, rankings, TO margins and past history. Seattle should win this game without too much trouble.

ex. in 1992 Buffalo had a so-so defense and a high powered offense(like Seattle). Pittsburgh had a top ranked defense and a below avg. ranked offense(like this year).
in their playoff meeting that year........Buffalo 24 Pittsburgh 3...............look for more of the same in Super Bowl XL.

NOTE: FOR HISTORICAL PURPOSES, CHECK SUPER BOWL III

I, unlike most of the American male species, have not made the NFL my religion. I have, however, called every single Super Bowl winner since XXXII, with exception to 1999 when the Tennesse Titans came one yard away from making it a perfect streak.

My methods are very unscientific - I just pick the team I like better and have no justification for it.

Seattle - 24

mainly cause i'm bias and i think the steelers want it a lot more, you can see the fear in hasselbacks eyes and his tone when he speaks, like when he was back peddaling what he said at the pep rally. and jeremy stevens just pissed of porter which isn't a good thing at all. so........HERE WE GO STEELERS, HERE WE GO!!!! winning one for the bus

Hey, can I get a Spur if I agree that the half-time show will suck? I don't give a rat's ass about this game. But, will the show suck? I say it will. Next year they will probably bring on the Capt. and Tenille, unless one has died suddenly.

Thanks, Janet. Really appreciate it. :rolleyes

Also, I'm in Vegas so I put down 20 bucks on a few of the crazy bets the Sportsbook offers...

Let's just say if it goes into Overtime, If the DEF or Spec Team Score a TD, or if there is a Safety, I'm Rich!
