As we all know the Spurs have used this annual road trip to close ranks, develop chemistry and solidify their rotations. Now that they have already embarked on this year's trip, with arguably their deepest roster of talent ever, let's look at the schedule and some reasonable "and unreasonable" expectations for the road trip.

@ Utah on 1/30 (won) 1-0
@ Portland on 2/1 (won) 2-0
@ Golden State on 2/2 (won)
@ Toronto on 2/8
@ New Jersey on 2/10
@ Indiana on 2/12
@ Cleveland on 2/13
@ Philadelphia on 2/15

As we all know the Spurs have stuggled with the back ends of back-to-back games this season (must be old age :spin). So the Spurs will be vulernable even in those games against "weak" teams.

After looking at the schedule of games for this trip, the only tough games I see are: Golden State, New Jersey and Cleveland.

Having said all that, I expect the Spurs to use this trip to take a strong hold on the top spot in the Western Conference. Therefore, my prediction for the road trip is 8-0.

What's your prediction?

I already put my money where my mouth is...every penny of my vast vBookie account was placed on the 9-0 slot...

Probably a loss to the Cavs. They're a completely different team on their home floor, and it's on the 2nd of a back-to-back for the Spurs. They're all very winnable though.

Seriously, the Cavs???
1. It is back2back, 7th on the road, 3rd in 4 days
2. Cavs can produce excellent game from time to time

Spurs should win them all. But I look for one letdown....

Either New Jersey or Cleveland....

That doesn't change the fact they're the Cavs, we own the Cavs

I'm going to go with 6-2. Players are still banged up and it's hard to win consistently on the road, so I wouldn't be upset with 5-3.

5-3. Most frequent prediction in this thread will be 9-0, though.

Wasn't this a vbookie?

I predicted 3 losses: Nets, Cavs, and Memphis.

I bet big on an undefeated trip. If the Spurs are knuckling down then that means no more bad losses. If they are still coasting they'll lose one or two games.
