Remember the nice times in the 80's-90's when we cruised Brack on Sundays and then we all went to SW military drive? I want to know If any of you from Spurstalk used to go out there? If so, what did you drive or who would you hang out with?

I used to hang around with all the preppies in the Iroc Z's and the guys with the Ninja bikes :spin

Oh, and who can forget our cruisin nights off of Austin Hwy @ the old Kroger parking lot. :elephant

I use to go to Bun n Barrell on Austin Hwy. Then I went to Military on Sundays when I was in highschool. I use to drive a dodge neon and hung out with some friends with systems in their cars. I had kick ass system in that car. I hung out by Flipside Records. I was really into car stereos and things but now Im more into import cars and stuff. But I havent been to Military on Sunday night since high school.

Back when I used to compte in sound offs, me and the rest of my competition team would go down there.

good times, especailly when I would get the ganstas to sit in my car, and I would scare the shit out of them when I would play the system.

makes me want to rip out what I have in the truck and build something loud again!!

i just had 2 kicker comp. 12's and rockford fosgate punch 250. Eclipse 6 1/2 in door speakers. Soundstream tweeters, kenwood 4 way 6x9's and a Kicker amp to run mids and highs with a crossover and a kenwood deck. It was loud enoungh for me. But one of my friends had JL audio 15's with the same amp in a truck and it rocked. I use to hate people who had a bunch of bass and no mids and highs to actually hear the music.

LMAO Auto Sounds Plus

they used to have a old VW Beetle that they claimed was the loudest ar in S A, problem was they used to compete in USACi where you can put the sensor wherever you want. Whe they would try a legal score (where you have to put the sensor on a certian place on the dash of your car, so it is an even playing field for evryone) their score sucked.

I used to beat them regularly.

As far as my comp. car, it was a 2001 PT Cruiser, I set my world record in March 2002 a South Padre Island, when I won the Spring Break Jam. I have had many set ups in that car, the loudest being 2 Kicker L7 12 inch woofers, and 2 Kicker 1200.1 amps that Mark Eldridge modded, each woofer was probably seeing bout 2k at 14 volts.

but now I have a basic setup in the truck.

Yeah, I see him there time to time.

He hooked it up with a free custom box for my 4 PPI 15". :elephant

I liked going to "his" shop on Blanco than his brothers on San Pedro.
