hi... new here... I'm from Argentina and we can't see the game tonight... so... I'm asking... how's the score? And how's Manu playing?

He's playing awesome tonight. Better than anyone in Spurs. But mainly Duncan is missing, so that's why the score is tied at the 4th

exstatic

Good work by Rasho to intercept that pass

That whole play was great. He was really battling on the fronting move, too, and then topped it with the steal. THAT is why he starts and plays more minutes. Murphy was killing us. Just keep Rasho on his azzz.

Just an aside, here - I love Ginobili's passion and all, yada yada yada, but that elbow on Foyle at about 7:40 in the third? THUG MOVE. Gotta say it,

you should lay off the pipe a little.

That was totally accidentally.

you should lay off the pipe a little.

That was totally accidentally.

I saw the replay, and I don't buy it. A weird lateral swipe with the elbow, not doing anything to contribute to hitting the bucket or drawing the foul. Maybe I missed a cheap-shot from Foyle earlier in the game and that was payback, but I do NOT believe that was an accident.

6:33 GS - B. Davis defensive rebound
6:35 SA - R. Nesterovic misses a 19-foot jumper from the right wing
6:54 GS - A. Biedrins drives to the hoop for a dunk. Assist: B. Davis
7:00 SA - Loose ball foul on T. Duncan
7:00 GS - T. Murphy offensive rebound

Yeah I'll take the win, especially with 5 days off. The W is all that matters at this point in the season, though I hope Pop can somehow get Finley playing better. He has not looked good all year. I still think he's gonna come through for us down the stretch though.

I'm not going to hate on the Spurs for winning 6 road games straight, and 2 in 2 nights. Both close-ish games too.

For those complaining about the close games, check out the Spurs record in games decided by 5 points or less..13-3. Not to shabby.

2 road wins over 2 tough opponents.

You may say, "Portland is tough?"

Portland I believe had won 6 of 7, and was on fire and coming off a big win over Seattle.

Golden State is one hell of a team with great players, and GS has always been a tough win.

Thank god the Spurs are done going there.

Tony says don't worry Spurs fans. Despite Duncan's slump Tony promised a bright future for the Spurs after the 5-day break.

here's one funny post-game quote from Tony
-------------------------------------------------
OAKLAND, Calif. -- For most of the second half, Tim Duncan appeared to be shut down by Troy Murphy. As it turned out, Duncan simply was waiting until the last possible minute to put the San Antonio Spurs on his shoulders.

Tony Parker scored 23 points and Duncan shook off a terrible game to score the Spurs' final five points in their sixth straight victory, 89-86 over the slumping Golden State Warriors on Thursday night.

Duncan managed just 16 points and 11 rebounds under tight defense from Murphy, but the All-Star Game starter emerged from a 15-minute personal scoring drought just in time to secure San Antonio's 28th victory in 32 meetings with Golden State.

That was no surprise to his teammates, who were rewarded with a rare weekend off from coach Gregg Popovich after six straight road victories.

"He played great in the last two minutes," Parker said of Duncan, who has struggled with a foot injury for much of the year. "I'm predicting 50 points by Timmy in the next game. After the rest, he's going to be on fire."

..:lol
