Props to Rasho.

Didn't someone point out today that his season-high in rebounds was eight so far?

I guess he needed the challenge. :)

Nice job indeed. I'm guessing he sensed that Nazr was about to win that starting spot.

Rasho hit the boards and played with more energy.

Hopefully he keeps this up so the Spurs can floor a capable center.

Nazr sucked when Duncan wasnt in the game. Rasho played great. Not only did Rasho have a great game, but Marks played well also. I only got to see bits and parts, but from what I saw, Marks was on point. As long as Nazr and Rasho dont suck on the same night, SA will be okay.

Rasho had a great play in the first half that I really gotta give him props on. He got the offensive rebound but then let Davis rip it from him but the best part is he didn't quit on the play. He chased Davis down and blocked his layup. Even though they still scored I just loved the hustle.

You mean the one that gave them the lead for good?

12 10 3 blocks

Not too shabby.

SOB should be averaging that.

I could live with half that.

6 and 5?

Thats almost what he averages now!!!

Murphy would work, but the Spurs aint got shit to give em.

If only Holt wasn't so cheap and signed a couple of NBDL players, they could've gotten him......

Contrary to conventional wisdom, centers on this team are not as good or bad as their last game, as every subsequent game seems to prove. I guess we need to add together all the stats from the 5 position and hope for the best.

Damnit.

Rasho really let me down scoring that double-double.

I wanted him to go the whole season without one.

But Nazr should still start. Nazr managed just as many fouls in half as many minutes. Let's see Rasho be that efficient.

"said Garnett, a former NBA MVP. "He's playing defense. He knows how to shift that momentum. When they need a big shot, he's there. Yeah, he's my MVP candidate."

Yawn, I love Billups but when Garnett wins a real MVP, i.e., a finals one, then I will stand up and listen to him.

You kind of shifted gears there no??? At first I thought Garnett was talking about ex-teammate Nesterovic.... (who happens to be the subject of this thread)....

See just what I said, when he has a good game you all stick up for him but when he has a bad game you curse him so much that I would have thought that he played on another team. Sorry for quoting this message lol.

Look at this this way. Rasho starts= we we go on a 5 road winning streak. Nazr starts= unkown. As long as we're winning I don't expect Pop to make changes even if Sequ insists on it.

(JK, props to Rasho, he was great while Nazr sucked. Defense was excellent as usual, and O was on point as well.)
