Bigger and stronger Oberto. I liked him better then the Scola guy in the spurs uniform. He's got realy strong streches sometimes.

I think he's worth a tour in the league to see what he can bring. I believe he's going to be free to join next season. There should be one spot opening up next summer as I believe Mohammed will be gone by then. Of course, there's also Scola to consider.

His comments on teh game:
Lietuvos Rytas center Robertas Javtokas
"We jumped on them from the very beginning, but Maccabi is a very strong team, which does not give victories away easily. So they stepped up later in the game. We lost our tempo at one moment, but we did not give up and managed to win this game. I think we showed that the first game in Tel Aviv was not a coincidence. I do not know if any other team has beaten Maccabi twice in one season, but we did it. One of the biggest problems for our team right now is consistent play during the course of the game. We can start really strong, but then suddenly make some mistakes and stop. Both teams scored a lot of points tonight, but I can say that our defense was really tough at the beginning. Of course, later we lost our rhythm for a while, however, Maccabi is the best offensive team in the Euroleague."

He has a similar role on Rytas (and the NT) that Rasho has with the Spurs.

Set lots of screens, rebound, defend the lane, and try to improve FT% above 50%.

He's not as tall as Rasho, but he's much more physical, he jumps higher, and dunks more.

The question is, does he have the basketball IQ that Rasho seems to have?

Do the Spurs really have his rights?

Yup. He seemed to be destined to come to Spurs before his thought to be "career ending" motorcyle accident a few years ago.
