Spur Sighting! Tony and Eva Fly Southwest!

Wow. So I was flying on Southwest to Vegas from Burbank airport (los angeles) for the Super Bowl and I look down the aisle and I see a guy that looks like Tony Parker, but I'm like, nooooooooo, why would he be there? So I get off, don't see him, think "oh it wasnt him"...then I am down in baggage claim and I see this amazing woman walk by with an escort and Tony right behind her! Tony and Eva are in Vegas for the Super Bowl, via Southwest. I don't even know if they were in the A group...I would have gladly given up my boarding pass! Anyway...it made me really excited, I know its not that big of a deal. I didn't ask for an autograph...I don't like botherin people when I know they get it all the time. Anyway, here are some horrible pics I took when I was walkin behind them, just in case no one believes me. Since I'm out in L.A, I only get back to San Antonio a few times a year to see the Spurs...hence me being excited for Tony and Eva randomly on my flight. I wonder if he enjoyed the peanuts!?

It's also probably a helluva lot easier for them to fly Southwest in terms of flexibility and the number of flights that SW offers. If it was some long ass flight to Europe or something, they would probably book first or business class for the comfort (I know I would), but for such a short hop to Vegas or L.A., Southwest is very easy.

But these guys are HUGE. I am 6'3 and have a hard time fitting in a 737.

I just read In Touch and it had a pic of Eva, Tony, and Kiefer Sutherland.. and something in the caption said about how Tony told Ryan Seacrest how they're goin to get married soon... :)

Vegas is part of my territory (at work) so I book a lot of travel there for my guys. Southwest is the best choice to fly there, they have the most options whether you're traveling from Burbank, LAX, Ontario or Orange County. Probably same reason you took Southwest. I am a little surprised that they flew out of Burbank though, that's a tiny airport and a little ghetto, if they didn't want to go through LAX I'd think they'd at least fly out of Orange County.

He was wearing a white button down ( I think shirt). He was sitting down when I saw him in the Superbox so I don't know if he had on jeans or slacks.

My friend saw him at the rodeo last year. I guess he really enjoys it.

I saw Eva at the airport the day after her and Tony were at the playboy mansion. I caught myself staring at her and wondering if it was her while i was walking towards her direction, and she looked at me and smiled and nodded as if to say, yeah, it's me. She smiled at me!!! At least I am 98% positive that it was her. She was dressed down, with a cap on, and she looks so tiny in real life.

Oh, and she was coming out of a Southwest terminal that time too.

And I like Southwest, we always them at work for traveling purposes, and I have never had a problem and are always willing to go the extra mile to help out. The only time I have ever had a problem flying was when I had to use Delta.
Other than the fact that the planes look like they are from the 1950's, they are a great service. Stewardesses could use upgrades though, but overall they pleasant and the pilots and staff usually have some funny comments just before takeoff. And they never seem to have change for a $20 on board and don't serve Bud Light. Come to think of it, your a working man's airline, serve a working mans alcohol.

My friend also has a picture of himself and Stone Cold Steve Austin on a southwest flight.

I am also pretty sure that the Spurs get some amount of free tickets, think about it, someone sees them flying it, and here are alot of us praising SW.

Exactly what I was thinking. When we flew with them John always tried to sit in the exit row. When he couldn't the cabin attendants suggested that he put his legs in the aisle unless someone was trying to pass.

NBA players fly Southwest all the time out of L.A. though. I was on the plane with James Worthy twice and he was in the middle seat :lol Seeing as the flight from L.A. to Vegas is only 50 minutes, it's probably no big deal.

Cool, you saw Tony & I saw Beno. I wish I'd have seen Tony instead. :( I saw Tony & Eva here in SA at Chuy's once, but I was too excited/scared to approach them, even though I looove Tony - I'd never know what to say, I'd be so scared they'd reject me!

I saw Sean Marks w/ his wife and kids at the zoo last month.

So I've seen 3 players in my 2 years of living here. :)
