The Scoop: The Pacers needed overtime and heroics from Anthony Johnson to defeat the Hawks 103-99 in Atlanta, the third game of the regular season. Atlanta ended last week by losing four straight games, despite a 43-point performance by Shareef Abdur-Rahim in a 95-85 loss to Cleveland. Abdur-Rahim is averaging a team-high 20.7 points and 9.8 rebounds for the Hawks.

The Bonus: The Pacers will wear the classic uniforms of the 1972-73 ABA Champions for the second time this season (the first was in a 93-70 victory over the New York Knicks on Thanksgiving Day). The Hawks will play along as well, unveiling their 1970's-style bright green and navy retro uniforms worn by the likes of Pistol Pete Maravich, "Super" Lou Hudson and Walt "Big Bells" Bellamy
