The game keeps blinking on and off argh.. every channel. The picture also went totally blank for last 5 minutes..

I can't I am a slave... Need the cable modem. No other options not even DSL.

There is 2 way data satellite but it's like 100-150 a month.

i was watching the game on TWC - had no problems at all.

if thats the Direcwav Satellite service don't bother, its not wroth all that. You're better off with cable modem if you have that.

Could be a weak signal. Did you hook up anymore tv's lately?

My cable internet would go out from time to time, when it started happening alot I called them out.

~three weeks later~

Connections up on the pole were corroded.

They had over 20 zip codes with outages tonight. I finally got a tech on the phone.

Oh well it's working now.. it started working right at the last drive of the game.

I am on the very end of the fiber so maybe that's why. Just saying I have called them out to the house over 30 times in last 4 years. Works for a month then drops. I inspect my own gear and cables. It's some defective box upstream. Anyway I think my cable drop is the very LAST one like on the entire grid (im in Bulverde Bexar).

EDIT: Also people that live in newer hoods with buried cables normally don't have as many problems. Our rig is all on 40 year old poles. I see Time Warner trucks all the time. Sometimes when I see them it goes out when they leave.

Like as if they fix one dude and mess up mine. Some guy called it "balance". I was like well for 50 bucks a month balance your shit man I got work to do.
