I know someone will know this. Driving down Cambridge St in Allston, MA (a neighborhood of Boston), someone's got a #15 Spurs jersey hanging in their window, but I can't see whose it was.

That would be VERY Boston, hanging an Italian white boy's jersey on display.

You may also find around town a brand-new never-worn Celtics #21 jersey with the name "Duncan" on it.

How in the world I could have forgotten that, I'll never know?

I'd say I'd go commit seppuku as penance for forgetting, but then it would just lend to the "Lachino" smack even more.

I wasn't calling you out, JB. Changing Vinnie Johnson, though, was just too easy.

By the way, there's a coaching history for guys who wear #15 in San Antonio. Before Vinny, AJ, and VJ, John Lucas wore that jersey. There's also, on occasions, been an end-of-the-bench feel to #15, like when Amal McCaskill pulled that jersey over his dreds, or when it clung to Ed Rains and Rick Wilson back in the 80's.

Henry Ward also wore it in 75-76 and 76-77 as one of the ABA to NBA transitional Spurs. 61 games in the ABA, 27 in the NBA.

I know you weren't, it's just Avery is my favorite player of all-time and I can't believe I missed it.

If it was hanging in a window in the Boston area, it's gotta be a Del Negro jersey.

As SAMikey said, he's from western Mass.

It would be a stretch but I believe I have seen this house... about 5 years ago... was the black in the jersey faded???

He is a nice guy. I met him once at howl at the moon and had a drink. His wife is hot too.
