...does this work??

You can confuse it by just looking at a symbol, but if you really do what it says to it works every freaking time.
:wow

your answer is always going to be a multiple of 9 (thats the just way the math works) and so every time all the multiples of 9 will have the same symbol
i had a friend in school that was completly mindfucked by this thing, last i heard of him he had dropped out, shaved his head, grew a beard, emptied all his bank accounts and was traveling to the far east to pay homage to the site

Can you elucidate please.

sure, no matter what number you start with...
lets say 52- which would be 5+2=7 then 52-7= 45
or 11- which would be 1+1=2 then 11-2= 9
or 99- which would be 9+9=18 then 99-18= 81
...you are going to end up with an answer (ie the number you match to a symbol) that is a multiple of 9 (9, 18, 27, 36, 45, 54, 63, 72, 81)
now if you look at the chart the symbols look random but they arent, for all those multiple of 9 numbers (the only possibe answer you can come up with if you do the math right) the symbol will always be the same, so no matter what multiple of 9 you end up with it will always be the same symbol as the one that comes up in the magic ball

Wow, I just noticed that the symbols always differniate after you click try again and the multiples of 9 all have the same symbol. Brilliant.

It's simple algebra:
10x + y -(x+y) = 9x.
Not only is it always a multiple of 9, it is simply 9x the first number.

It's simple algebra:
10x + y -(x+y) = 9x.
Not only is it always a multiple of 9, it is simply 9x the first number.
even more simple:
where z= original number
and x= first digit
and y= second digit
then 9x = z -(x+y)
90 and 99 are mutliples of 9, but do not carry the same symbols as the others..........

even more simple:
where z= original number

and y= second digit
then 9x = z -(x+y):lol How is that "more simple", when your first three statements are just "z=10x+y" in more words?

90 and 99 are mutliples of 9, but do not carry the same symbols as the others..........The highest result you can get is 81:
99 - 9+9=18 then 99-18= 81
So it doesn't really matter which sign 90 and 99 are...

I never should have written "Math Sucks" in that algebra text book.
