Nov.1 - (Opening Day) The New York Knicks' investment in Larry Brown pays off immediately as the Knicks start the season tied for first place.

Nov. 4 - Abiding by the new NBA dress code, Suns point guard Steve Nash showers for the first yime in 15 years.

Nov. 16 - After a 47 point, 10 rebound, 13 assist performance, an excited Tim Duncan falls asleep.

Nov. 22 - Phil Jackson, who traditionally gives everyone something to read during road trips, decides to give himself the book he wrote; when he finishes, he realizes why he and his whole team hate Kobe Bryant.

Nov. 25 - Kenyon Martin shatters the backboard just by shouting at it.

Dec. 7 - A total of 134 players complete a single-double, the most players to do so in one night since late November.

Dec. 14 - Shaquille O'Neal loses the game for the Miami Heat with a poor performance from the free throw line, but says something really funny in the post-game interview.

Dec. 19 - Paul Pierce demands to be traded to a winner, Celtics GM Danny Ainge packages him in a confusing 20-player, 10-team trade that lands Pierce back in Boston.

Dec. 21 - Grant Hill almost plays in a basketball game.

Jan. 6 - Jason Kidd forgets to blow a lucky kiss before his free throw, causing his shot to miss the backboard completely and land in the fifth row of the stands in the opposite end of the court.

Jan. 13 - LeBron James dazzles the crowd with monsterous dunks and flashy ball-handling in the Cav's 110-64 loss to the Pistons, who make good fundamental passes and jump shots.

Jan. 25 - The illustrious Midwest rap scene loses another star to the West Coast as Ron Artest is traded to Sacramento.

Jan. 30 - Knicks president Isiah Thomas expresses dissapointment that his estranged son of 19 years, whom he has twice refused the opportunity to meet, doesn't like basketball.

Feb. 4 - The Warriors celebratetheir largest win of the season when the Timberwolves mistake Florida for the "Golden State" and half the team gets on the wrong plane.
