Alright guys, it's Horns-Bears 2. What is our game plan for tonight?
Gibson went off for 37 points last meeting, and we all know that's not gonna happen again tonight. However, PJ tucker ended the game with a whopping 2 points on 1-8 shooting...and we all know that's not gonna happen again tonight.
I'm slowly eating my words of scoffage about one, young, AJ "chinstrap" "the baby" Abrams. He is coming along nicely and I have to keep reminding myself that he's a freshman. He still does not have the ability to dribble the ball towards the basket inside the 3 point line, but he isn't making sissy passes and turning it over like he used to. I think he sees quality minutes tonight.
Paulino will be Paulino.
As far as the game plan...the conservative in me says we start Conner Atchley and save LaMarcus and his 5 fouls for the second half. That way he can totally prey upon the Bear defense with less worry of having to sit his foul prone ass on the bench.
But the liberal in me says we stick to the original, same ole game plan and bring young AJ off as the 6th man. I think he can handle the Bears no problem.
I think the only true X factor is Gibson. He's more inconsistent than the flow of Weesatch in Victoria in the summer of 2001. We should have a vbookie on his point total, because it really could be anywhere from 5 to 35 points.
