joyous.

i wonder if we will actually get anythign this time. i wouldnt be shocked to see just enough to make a total mess of things. but it wont really matter if you stay on surface streets as the rain will turn to liquid upon contact for one. depending on how cold it gets of course you might have some issues on overpasses...but thats commonplace.

i'm not really expecting much of anything in san antonio metro, but we will see what may happen.

Get over it, the low of 32 degrees means a little frozen rain. For it to affect plants it will have toi be below freezing for more than 4 hours, that will not happen with this week ass front we have.

We actually need flash flooding right now for a real recharge. They will act like it's the end of the world but it's life giving. And with all the construction on the recharge zone and city growth we are gonna have to tap the lakes and maybe desalination eventually.

You know what "a chance" means right? I've worked with enough truck drivers to know that if either of us is more likely to fit the description of a bus boy, its you bud.

Its not as though I come in here and claim to be some weather nostradamus. I just pass on the info.

Any wet is good wet...

What's wierd is last night.. hot and sticky.. then COLD BOOM.. and no thunderstorm?

WTF that was BS... all the stuff was there...The cold air layer that came in was way too shallow for thunderstorms. You need a deeper layer in order to generate lift from the warm moist air rising above the colder dense air. When its shallow it just rides right over it and you get the low ceilings and drizzle/light rain that we have been getting.

It's 34F outside here in magical, moist Yorkshire. Of course, the socialist government decreed that we use Celsius now, so it's actually 1C. Not 34F. Blech. :spin
