yeah i think you are right cuz those pics are pretty sick

but i'd only say that dunk and AI's behind the backboard were better

the rest were kinda meh

i still think this year's dunk competition as a whole was overrated and you AI has a sour taste in his mouth cuz of the way it was judged as critics are already complaining about nate robinson's "gift" from the judges. so this competition will probably be remembered more for "tainting"

Have you watched recent dunk contests???

This one was great!

I will remember it for Iggy and N-Rob doing absolute crazy dunks.

it was good but i've got dvd's from a lot of the dunk competitions from the 80's and a few from the 90's (isiah rider comes to mind) that put this one to SHAME

i mean basically we had 2 dunkers who ran out of ideas in this compeition and were trying to force something using 15 attempts whereas back int he nique/jordan and webb and nique days you had REAL intesity and dunkers were more than just a one trick pony

it wasn't a bad competition but vc in 2000, the aura and the excitement he caused blows away this year's dunk competition where more people will be whining about who deserved to win b/c of the judges than b/c of how "great" the dunks were

I had a lot of fun tonight watching the dunks, Nate is one of my favorite guys in the league now just because of the fact that he is a freak of nature.

How many others felt the same way I did? Iggy went off the backboard, and I was thinking it was over. Game, set, match. Done.

Then Nate brings out Spud Webb and skies, and I did a complete flip and said no way he doesn't win after that.

That between the legs one was sick. It's not that impressive when Isiah Rider does it, but a 5'7" guy doing that is mind-blowing.

Nope, he does look a lot like him, particuly on the photo of him hugging spud. Some angles his skin looked a little lighter, and I thought he looked like Pharell, also.

Unbelievable dunking. His head is only 3/4 inches from the hoop in one of those pics, and the dude is 5'7. Incredible.

Isn't wierd that Nate Robinsons voice is so...............girly yet he would probably kick 5 guys asses at the sametime and then dunk on everybody.

Man, Nate Robinson should be a Spur :pctoss

Rumor was he would've come out in 2004 if someone guaranteed him of getting drafted. Spurs had two second round draft picks and I was hoping they'd give him that guarantee. They even had a workout scheduled for him the day he had to decide but the Spurs called it off.

Then the Spurs drafted Romain Sato :pctoss

oh no, 60" is just too much for Nate. If you have ever seen Kadour Ziani (Slam nation), he has 57" of vertical, its CRAZY :angel

If Spud Webb is 5'7" there is no way Nate Robinson is 5'9" because him and Spud are the same height.

Umm.. those are his actual measurements from pre-draft camp. You can't really dispute them.

Isn't Tim Duncan 7'1, but listed as 6"11?

What?

Tim Duncan isn't close to 7'1.

But that doesn't have anything to do with what I said. The measurements I posted are the actual measurements for Robinson from pre-draft camp. Those have nothing to do with what a player is listed as by the NBA. Those are just real measurements.
