Last 2 years we have been hit hard by this stupid rolling oak worm.
It hatches. Eats your fresh new oak leaf and drops down with a wall of stringy mess.
Just a heads up you have to spray the BT right when they hatch. You won't save all your stuf but if you can save areas of your tree it won't shock it as much.
I already stocked up on my BT from home depot, last year it worked ok on the lower parts of my
bigger oaks.
