Ha. Nice 1-6 effort there from Sheed. Maybe if the East had the leagues leading rebounder, they wouldn't of been outrebounded by such a pathetic margin.

We won the game, who cares about the most rebounds? :rolleyes
Not to mention he was shooting left-handed 3s. He was just there to have some fun. Bottom line, the West didn't seem to know what to do on offense when Ben and Sheed were out there on defense, and Chauncey keyed that comeback along with their defence. You leave out the Pistons this year, and the West kicks the East's ass. You're welcome, Eastern Conference.

Anybody wanna add in who else should not have been in the all-star game??
I'll throw another in.. How about Tony? he played pretty shitty.
He threw in some of the worst lob passes I've ever seen.
But the one that takes the cake is Yao.. All I can say is wow... and I mean it in a wow he sucks way.
Im just trying to find someone other than sheed who probably should not have been in it.

Pistons are so damn annoying whining about there should have been five Pistons. NO there only should have been three. Record wise Pistons are only a few games ahead of Dallas and the Spurs. They haven't done anything super special or are any better than any teams in NBA history where they think they deserve to have all five Pistons. First it was "we get no respect" now "we should have had five Pistons" Like Gilbert Arenas said (even though he played like crap) "This is the all-star game, not all star teams" or whatever something like that.

How about Ray Allen ? He didn't do crap for the West.

Before Gilbert Arenas was named as the injury replacement, Brutalis was screaming how Rasheed Wallace should have never been selected over Arenas.
Gilbert Arenas: 0-4 FG, 0-2 3PT, 1-2 FT, 1 ast, 1 stl, 1 TO, 1 pt
pretty lame eh?

I cringed every time he touched the ball. I think the chip on his shoulder crushed him.

LOL!
I am not defensive in the least. DWIGHT HOWARD DESERVED TO BE AN ALL STAR OVER RASHEED. I have freely admitted that for the last week. What now, Mr. Bitter?
LOL ... Brutalis, you're just a bitter Pistons hater. I was just pointing out something you had been saying all last week. But, go ahead, hate on.
You even said Ben Wallace didn't deserve to be an all-star. His defensive activity helped turned the game around at the end of the third and beginning of the fourth quarter. But, you probably will still hate on Ben Wallace as an all star. Hate on.
You probably can't admit the Pistons helped win the game for the East in that fourth quarter stretch. Hate on.
That's fine. Hate on.

Bitter of what? I didn't see you state that before. And your posse should too. So that's good.
That's all I need to know.

Rasheed doesn't belong in the all star game. Talent-wise, he might be the second best power forward in the Eastern Conference. But, even though he's sacrificed his stats for team success, he just isn't having an all star type season. I would have put Dwight Howard ahead of Rasheed Wallace.
I wrote that in the above thread on February 10th or 11th.

Yeah why bring people like Rasheed Wallace that can actually defend? Get the stat padders to go in there that play little defense.

And, you could admit that Arenas sucked worse than Rasheed, even though you gassed Arenas up and giving him oral on how he should be there ahead of Rasheed and Ben.

Arenas had a bad game. So did Manu last year, and Parker this year. That means they didn't deserve to be there?
Horry For 3!

You didn't win the game and the Pistons didn't win the game. But the East did win.

Pretty defensive there, feel like the Pistons beat the Spurs do ya? (I don't)
My response was to HeyIt'sMe's original post which was "Maybe if the East had the leagues leading rebounder" so in my response "We" obviously meant the East.
Try to pay attention to detail in the future and save us both a post. :)

I don't think Sheed was all that enthused about attending the festivities. I remember reading somewhere that Sheed publicly "begged" the coaches not to pick him. He stated that his other Pistons teammates were "more deserving" and that he "preferred to spend the weekend on a Florida beach with his wife, sipping those little drinks with umbrellas in them".
