The Best

The Dime/Mitchell & Ness Party — Our party went off Sunday night right after the All-Star game, and it was the perfect way to finish off the weekend. There was a great mix of people, from our friends at the NBA and other industry people to Darryl Dawkins.

The party wrapped, and even though the lights came on, everyone was still dancing and having a good time. And then, within a few hours, almost everyone was on their way to the airport.

The Brand Jordan Party — Every year, the Brand Jordan party is always the best. It's virtually a mortal lock going into the weekend. This year's party? Unreal. Not only were we chilling at a party with MJ, Reggie Miller, Antoine Walker, Ben Gordon and Chris Bosh, but there was also and unbelievable concert by John Legend. Plus, a signed collection of Jordan kicks — all 21 styles, each signed by the man himself — was being auctioning off. When we left the party, Mark Cuban was leading the bidding at almost half a million dollars for the collection.

Shaq — He's on the list for just about everything he does. Always approachable, always affable, he's clearly a favorite of all the players. He's always good for a quote and good for a laugh. Shaq is the man.

NBA All-Star Introductions — We said it in Smack on Monday, and as funny as it sounds, the pre-game intros were unbelievable. From Destiny's Child to the game's starters rising from the stage, it was phenomenal. It's something you had to see and experience in person to really understand.

The Dunk Contest - If there weren't so many missed dunks, we think people would be talking about this year's contest as one of the best ever. But what we did have was three or four unbelievable dunks. The Andre Iguodala behind-the-backboard dunk? One of the sickest things we've ever seen.

The Magic Dunkers — These girls might have been the highlight of the entire weekend. You know those halftime acts where there's a crew of guys doing crazy dunks off trampolines? After years of seeing the same stuff, it's boring right? Picture those guys you usually see replaced by phenomenally hot, scantily clad girls doing those same dunks. Tremendous.

The Worst

Donald Faison — You know how we said earlier that the Jordan party is an All-Star lock every year? Well so is the mystifying phenomenon that is Donald Faison's courtside seats for every event. How does this happen? Who thinks he deserves this? We were looking around the arena at guys like Ice Cube and Russell Simmons sitting in the stands, getting their own popcorn and sodas while the guy from "Scrubs" is rolling like P.Diddy … again!

Media Day — It's not so much that the media availability for the All-Star competitors is a bad thing; it's the way people act during the annual two-hour session. Pushing and shoving to get at Kobe, A.I., KG ... and Steve Kerr, Dan Majerle and Avery Johnson. Seriously.

Tony & Eva — This is hands down our pick for the worst thing from All-Star Weekend. The act is way, way, way played out. The snuggling during the dunk contest, the constant interview questions about each other, her "my boyfriend just scored a basket jumping up and down" routine — it's all brutal.

He is bitter... Why must he hack at Donald??? Does he not have enough cred yet??? Is he supposed to release a rap album before he does???

Eva probably told the writer to "move on, playah" when he got too close.

Once they get front page play in The Star every week like Angelina, Brad or Jennifer...then you've achieved hypeness.

Yeah, this story went out the window with their own autofellatio in the first paragraph.

How anyone thinks the dunk contest has been on a "best" list for any of the, oh say, last fifteen ASGs is incredible. This is an event that is begging to be put to sleep.

Would you rather have tony and eva showing no affection? They are a couple. Do you not snuggle with your babymama?
