Tonight, Rick Carlisle got the "balanced" effort he was looking for. Ron Artest led the Pacers in scoring tonight with 17 pts, as they went to defeat the Boston Celtics 91-90 at Conseco Fieldhouse.

Reggie Miller and Jermaine O'Neal each contributed with 14 pts, and although playing limited minutes, each played well and appear to be in game shape.

Scot Pollard had another solid performance tonight with 9 pts/8 rebounds. Jammal Tinsley contributed with 6 pts, and 5 assists

Al Harrington once again had another great outing with 9 pts as well. Harrington, along with Artest played the most minutes in tonights contest with 31.

Just as Omar Cook was a surprise in game one (tonight scoring 2 pts, 2 reb and 3 assists) so was Primoz Brezec . Brezec had 8 pts and 8 rebs.

The Pacers came out rolling in the first quarter with an impressive 16-4 run, leading by nine at halftime, 54-45.

The second half saw the Pacers continue to be in control of game. A late Celtics rally managed to steal the lead away from the Pacers, however briefly.

The Pacers extend their record to 2-0 this pre-season while the Celtics drop to 0-3.
