This is the training camp roser for the pacers. Guys with the * next to them do not have a guaranteed contract. I also noticed that there's only two guys in their 30's on te team, we have a young team. I'd like to see Omar Cook to make the team, he kind of reminds me of Artest.

I want to see how James Jones does. I heard he played well in Denver this summer. But like you, I want to see how Omar Cook does.

I'm also interested in seeing how Croshere and Reggie Miller do as well.

Thanks for putting up the list!

Cook won't make it. Too cocky and he had a decent freshman year in college, if he had stayed he would be a Juan Dixon type player, but hes too small, his shot isn't great and when he gets matched up against a guy who is same skill or better, Cook is nowhere to be found. Same happened in college, but since he was a freshman people didn't make a big deal about it, esspially since he had Artest and Postell to pass to in St John's.

I personally loved Cook when he was in college, but he will never be a solid NBA player or a backup. Maybe, just maybe in a few seasons, he will be a backup PG on some weak team. He needs to go to Europe and play 2 or maybe 3 seasons there, then come back and try out for the NBA.

About Pollard, i heard he will wear jersey # 62 this season. (31 + 31)

I'm curious for the pre-season to start now, cause I want to see how this new group mixes together as a unit.

Granted, we only play eight games...but we have to see what fits well and what doesn't during that time.
