I hate to admit it but I thought Breakfast at Tiffanys was a great film. Also, I love period films like "Emma" and "Pride and Prejudice."

Breakfast at Tiffany's is awesome. I have not seen Must Love Dogs, but I love John Cusack (especially in Grosse Point Blank, a highly underrated film) so maybe I will like it. The best film version of "Pride and Prejudice" is not the current one, but the BBC version starring Colin Firth. That man is all kinds of sexy.

Laurence Olivier's Mr. Darcy is my favorite portrayal of a Jane Austen character. Haven't seen the new version or the BBC one for that matter. I will have to check it out.

I admit that Sir Lawrence's portrayal or Mr. Darcy is excellent.... I prefer the BBC version overall because I like Colin Firth but also because I think the depth of detail, especially in the costuming and makeup (they only wore what was actually available back when the book was written) is just fascinating to me. If I had not watched the DVD extras and known this, then perhaps I would not like it better than the Olivier portrayal. But such is life in the modern age.

I have never seen Breakfast at Tiffany's, I guess it's a MUST SEE

I didn't like Must Love Dogs - though part of my dislike may be thanks to having to watch it with my mother, who an hour into the movie said, "But I thought this was about a dog show?!" I'll be happy when John Cusask breaks away from this shit and goes back to making films like Grosse Point Blanke. Breakfast at Tiffany's and When Harry Met Sally are two of the only "chick" flicks I will watch - they are both awesome.

I also dig the original Sabrina, though (with Audrey Hepburn and Humphrey Bogart), and I admit I have a weakness for Steel Magnolias (Weezer is fabulous).

She is, but I'm usually too distracted by Bogart to pay too much attention :spin

The wife loves that movie. I've seen it a few times myself, as long it's not depressing as fuck, I can get into a good romantic-comedy.

I used to color my hair red as well.. perhaps its something in the dye?

Or maybe we just have excellent taste in movies.

Oh, and Maid in Manhattan was an awful flick. Zero chemistry between JLo and Ralph Fiennes. Too bad such a talented and handsome actor has to lower himself for such crap.

I like John Cusack films. Grosse Pointe Blank was fun. There are some hilarious moments in that film. I thought Cusack's best film was The Grifters. He also has a cameo in one of my favorite movies, The Player.

Ahhh... "Say Anything"... classic chick flick with one of the best scenes in romantic comedy cinematic history- Lloyd holding up the boombox playing "In Your Eyes" Guaranteed to make me wanna :makeout

Yeah, I gotta admit--I'm a fan. I actually agreed to watch the flick on a date cuz I thought "It's got Cusack...can't be horrible". The only people who I say that about are Morgan Freeman, Kevin Spacey, and uh....Angelina Jolie :spin . But if you want a great John Cusack movie..."Midnight In the Garden Of Good and Evil". Hell of a fucking movie.

Another John Cusack movie I love- "A Sure Thing"... totally cheesy 80's movie, but God help me I love it. That and "One Crazy Summer". Neither are chick flicks but I will watch anything with Cusack in it other than 'Con Air':vomit

I hate romantic comedies and the such. I'd rather watch mafia, suspense, drama or action movies.
