Have you ever seen any other ncaa team (besides UConn maybe) that gets so flabergasted and stupefied when they don't get consistent calls on the ROAD?

"Duke's gettin confused cuz dey're not gettin calls on tha road, baaaabyyyy"

Well, when your coach is on the committee that reviews all the officials that call games in DI ball, you typically expect to have things go your way ;)

Duke won't win it all this year, as I have said earlier in the year, they choke during March Madness

I think UCONN has a good chance to win it all

I would be very surprised if Uconn didn't win it all, they are the best team in the country. They are so deep, so many big men, so many scoring options, and they play D.

Three cares...

the reg season is all about figuring out who you have to beat whean. You can lay back for that depending on your schedule and home-home issues. The NCAA tournament is WAY different. Less time to prepare, very fluid, very different, usually a lack of home court..the best sports sell in the U.S. by far. Teams that usually play to win suddenly play "NOT" to lose. Ergo, the upsets.

Some call it Cinderella, I call it reality. The tournament is a very diifferent beast. If some low seed finds the key and figures it out, they get to the sweet 16. It happens every year. If those events were best of 5 or 7, the moments would never happen. just my $.02

Look, it's not rocket science. Go box and 1 on JJ and play Shelden Williams straight up. That's what's happened in both their losses, and in all their close wins recently.

They're too reliant on Redick on offense to win it all.

Duke won't win it all because they won't get ACC officials everynight during the tourney. But those damn FSU fans nearly fucked it up for everybody.

Yes, but to me they seem more like an elite 8 team. They must get hot and get on a roll, but I don't think they can beat 3 really good teams in a row.

UT does not have the point guard to go far into the tournament

Which is a crying shame...because last years point guard is such a bust that Rick Barnes is forced to play true freshman AJ Abrams for most of the point guard minutes

If we had a point guard who was one fourth the point guard TJ Ford was, we could have a serious shot

It's the poitn guard situation that makes this incredibly bad ass texas team very overrated and very vulnerable to good defensive teams

sheldon isnt overrated

its not even the PG situation, its specifically the shittyness of one daniel gibson
they might as well get McKenzie Parker Smegmaton to play Guard
and the nature of Texas' offensive and defensive game- when they get down x points, its like getting behind x2 points with half the time thats actually on the clock

we'll see where Texas is next fall with their roster, freshman, walkons and transfers, but they might consider CUTTING HIS ASS FROM THE TEAM and giving all his mins to jd lewis/aj/dj augustine

Also, Buckman is tough and a future NBA caliber guy, but easy to isolate and render insignificant

You have a great case! Not getting a lot of + or - press nationally. Kind of a forgotten crew there in Tiger land. Too much focus on the BIG CONFERENCES right now. I hjeard more about LOOOEEEEVUHL than I did about the Tigers in the last week.

Watch the Tigers! (OH...hit your free throws...JAB)

Only if he gets better at towel waving, because that's all he'd be doing.

He got rendered useless last night by 6'5" intramural walkon Chris Walker. Doubt that's gonna cut it in the big league.

I have to disagree, he can get isolation in the NBA as a big guy. He was negated last night...had 4 fouls before he finally hit sopme undeserved FTs at the end, but he is a viable NBA dude. I question Paulino at this juncture, for t.u. I WOULD LOVE TO SEE the "Normangee Tractor" in Sliver and Black!
