Has the deadline for signing Spreewell past?

I haven't heard anything about Spreewell being added to a team in order to be eligible for a playoff roster. Isn't the deadline soon. . .or over?

I don't know why I thought he had to be under contract by early March for playoff eligibility.

Since Sprewell hasn't played for another NBA team this season, they can sign him whenever they want and he'd be eligible for the postseason. Just like Glenn Robinson last year.

If a player has played for another NBA team this season then they had to be waived by March 1 to be eligible.
