Three rings can buy a LOT of forgiveness. Matter of fact, I think the first one Avery helped Pop get in '99 buried that particular piece of ugly history.

It's like the story of Greg Davis, the UT football team's offensive coordinator. Alumni and fans were screaming for his head for years, then Vince and the Horns win a title, and Davis wins national assistant coach of the year this season and is labeled a genius.
