Key 4th quarter performance. Those 3 Js he hit were huge. The Spurs need him to be that guy. This week's performances should be a boost for the old confidence.

The first time he played against his old team, you could tell he was pressing. Tonight he was really in the flow and scoring with confidence. The drive baseline away from two defenders and then pulling up and elevating for the swish, like he was 24 years old, was sweet.

He was calling for the ball all night. He could have had a monster night with more shots.

This was a make or break game for Finley, I think. If he stunk it up again, I would have really doubted his playoff ability.

Luckily, he came up big and stuck it to The Benefactor.

So,

what, now you have confidence in his playoff ability?

no, he's never been to the finals and his stats drop off in the playoffs.

He still needs to prove himself in that capacity.

Mike had a great 4th q, that was good to see. The 1st time he played the Mavs, he did not play well, nerves? Good make-up game for him tonight, hope he continues playing well.

I kept hoping that TNT was panning to Cuban on every made Finley shot.

I hope one day he comes out in an interview and says somehing like...

"I'd like to thank mark Cuban for this opportunity"

Maybe when we win the championship.

Finley, god damnit. The mother fucker always screws us over. Last year he sucked major balls. And then today he comes in and is aggressive and drains everything. God fucking damn, it pisses me off how he sucks in Dallas and then comes here and does exceptionally better.

And by the way, Cubes made the right move to cut Finley. We are going to have some big bucks to spend on resigning our guys and going after free agents thanks to all the extra luxury cap tax we don't have to pay.

Finley is stepping up. Let's hope these last 2 games weren't just a distant memory and that he continues to step up. We need him if we want this O'Brian back.

Yeah, it'll go to paying the lux tax on the guys they re-sign.

Dude did nothing for them the whole time he was there.

SAN ANTONIO (AP) -- Michael Finley is still being paid millions of dollars by the Dallas Mavericks. On Thursday, he was money for the San Antonio Spurs.

I LOVE IT ¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡

Remember when Steve Smith hung 35 on the Trailblazers?

finley was the only productive mav for a while, analogy doesn't quite fit until that last year.

For all of his 0-fer and 1-fer games this season, he found his guts and his shot last night, couldn't have chosen a better game to be useful.

With 2 B2Bs next week and Manu still off his game, Michael has to keep producing.

Only difference, is Finley moves better, rebounds, and defends, unlike HITA.
