Amare has no defense and will be reluctant to do anything extra against us, so him coming back in all honesty would only helped our chances.

Duncan should back him down and push dude around.

Like I said, if Amare comes back that only helps SA to beat Phoenix considering he can't hold anyone on defense and will be playing soft coming back from injury. Without him Phoenix has greater chances to beat us Thursday and if they do it will be a major let down for SA.

Sorry, FreshPrince22, I posted before the Laker game started.

So, 1-1 v. LA Lakers.

22-5 against the Western Conference still pretty damn good.

Don't you have to go through the east before facing the west? What is your record with east teams? I'm just curious.

The Suns have 17 losses... counting is fundamental.

Brutalis

How would it not? You don't think he'd be soft and reluctant? Not only that he will hurt team chemistry, probably.

How is that stupid? That's fact man. Don't remember DRob coming back from injury? How different and reluctant he was?

Very true. Pistons are 26-6 against the Eastern Conference.

The San Antonio Spurs are 20-8 against the Eastern Conference. :spin

Last time I checked, that wasn't our conference.

It's yours.

You know the teams better, you play against them more.

And not to make any lame excuses, but most of those losses came in the early part of the season.

We play the east teams only twice and you play your east teams 3-4 times. The probability of losses is greater with only 32 games played.

At the end of our rodeo road trip.

One of those games we lost the other we completely gave away.

And I said most not all.

Amare will not be back in time for the matchup versus the Spurs.

Last word from ESPN is that Amare has a 50/50 shot of returning and a local paper said Amare may return in early April. His date keeps getting changed to a later return date. Although for some reason he is still ahead in his rehab and reported return of February. Go figure.

If KT wasn't down, this matchup would be a very good preview of what could be expected in the WCF this season.

Though now I'm not sure Tim Thomas is the defensive player the Suns need to defend TD.

It'd be very interesting to have Amare return this season and force the Spurs into a TD/Rasho/Nazr vs Amare/Diaw matchup in the WCF. TD is obviously the best in the group from both teams, but it's that secondary matchup that will be the problem at hand.
