My nephew did it in my brother's apartment ... who knew there is a little glass tube inside of those things that make them go off when they are broken?

Fortunately, it doesn't make them ALL go off ... but needless to say 3 days, several big blowers and a couple of de-humidifiers later and that room and the carpet in 2 others is still pretty wet.

One of those sprinklers spouts out 13-18 gallons of water per minute, btw. :wow :lol

Good, then ... you won't have to throw out everything you own after it gets destroyed by water damage. And if you're upstairs, there'd be concern for structural damage as well...which you would be responsible for. If you do decide to do it, however, make sure your renter's insurance is up to date. :)
