3 straight jumpers in one stretch. The defense might as well not exist when that is falling for him.

His release was funky ... but it went in.

That's all that counts :lol

If he gets that jumper falling consistantly, he could be All NBA one of these years.

Tony Parker in 2 years is going to be unfuckin real.

If Tim had finished, we probably would have had 4 guys with 20+ points.

and it would have been a blowout. Koab probably wouldn't have had the room to shoot those threes if TD were in there too.

It was like he flipped a switch.

That jumper had been crap all night, then all of a sudden, nothing but twine.

Love how Tony bagged those shots in CT.

That's definitely a good sign.

Tony has always bagged jumpers in clutch time.

Go back and watch some film from 2003, game 6 VS Phoenix.

Bagged shot after shot from the outside in the 4th quarter.

This is very true, ya know.

He also got pissed cuz of that foul, and lit em up.

He has also been equally crappy in many crunch time situations. People just tend to remember the bad performances and not the good ones.

Wait, Timvp are you saying his shot was the old Parker shot, not the new one he is working on with Chip?

In past years, the knock on Parker was his inconsistency.

This year, there has been no inconsistency. 55% shooting is ridiculous.

Man forget about that, how about Manu catching fire in the third hitting like 4 straight three pointers...Manu=The fucking man

I think he will be THIS year...

Gonna be close. But I think if you look at the Spurs having a top 2-3 record with the two "bigger" stars subpar all year, that tips the balance for Third-Team in his favor.

The other interesting question is whether Tim gets the inertia First-Team, or gets the Second-Team he deserves.

The only thing about Tony is he needs to change his name to something manly.

Like Frank. Or Biff. Or Maximus.

MAXIMUS PARKER FOR THREEEEEE!!!!!

Tony is a more "manly" (what the hell does that mean???) name then TIM. I don't think either of them feels their masculinity challenged because of their name.

I think it was Sean that made the point a few nights back, that now in practice they are working on Tony's 3 point shot. As he put it. If he gets that down, he will become totally unstoppable and unguardable.

I certainly think the Spurs were indeed lucky to pick Tony up as late as they did.

He's turned out to be more than they could ever have hoped for.

Well, they hoped for $66 Million worth.

And it appears they may have just gotten it.

However, factoring his initial rookie deal (3 years at <= 1M ?) you are getting 9 years for about $70 million. That is less than 8 million a year.

Quite a bargain for a young, experienced All-Star Point Guard.

The Spurs' record with Tony Parker in the lineup is 273-100 (.732). The only players since the 1970 season to play at least 300 games and have a higher winning percentage were Magic Johnson (.740) and Larry Bird (.736).

Anybody still feel snubbed that JKidd didn't sign with the Spurs.

We actually dodged a bullet IMO

That's impressive. But even more impressive is I'm guessing those were Magic and Bird's numbers for their entire career.

Tony Parker is the next Iverson without the shitty attitude and poor shot selection.
He'll end up better than Iverson. He has plenty more years to prove that

Iverson is/has/will always be a fukkin stud.

I seriously doubt Parker gets on that level.

I dunno.

If Parker was as selfish as Iverson, and had been brought up in a great basketball college like Georgetown, I don't doubt hed be as good.

You're right, Sequ. I don't ever see Tony on the level of 40% FGs for a season. :lol
