View Full Version : LA's Better Team Tonight

Ok. The Clippers are this year's LA team that can give the Spurs problems. This is going to be a good game. The Clippers as we all know are a lot better than what they were before. To me (my opinion) Brand should be mentioned as a strong candidate for MVP.

This will not be an easy win for the Spurs because of the back to back factor. The good thing is that they didn't have to travel to another city. I think the Spurs will pull it off, but I won't be mad if the Spurs lose. Why? The Clippers are my other favorite NBA team.

It's gonna be tough!
But still...
Go Spurs Go!:)

I agree. If the Spurs aren't that tired, they should pull it off. Elton Brand is good though. His supporting cast is underrated in my opinion. Corey Magette is back. Maybe not at 100%, but he is back. Kaman is the janitor.

Clips are 3-7 in Last10.

It's up to the Spurs to show they can win B2B when they want to, esp in March.

I think the Lakers are better than the Clippers, especially the last month.

Lakers are going to be a harder team to beat come the playoffs.

I think the Clippers have more weapons. The Lakers have Kobe and............................................... .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. ...well, Kobe. The Clippers have a better point guard in Sam I am, a good outside shooter in Cat and a dirty work type player in Kaman.

As last night showed, Kobe alone is quite dangerous. Clipps and Lakers would both be hard in the postseason...

True. Kobe can probably beat a team all by himself, but if you eliminate that one player that team needs someone else to step up. The Lakers don't have that. Odom can be that player, but I doubt it.

Well, I don't think for a minute that the Lakers or Clipps could upset the SPurs in the playoffs, I just don't think it would be a cakewalk as most people would think...esp with the Lakers.

Nazr offsets Kaman's energy and Brands biggest strength OR some - Expect Horry to come back with an attitude as well.

Spurs could very well blow this one open.

"Kobe can probably beat a team all by himself"

Spurs have already been beaten this season by LeBron and Gilbert "all by themselves".

At least your guys don't have to travel after last night's game.

Not true, they did not sleep at Staples.....

You are not too bright, Sirchaz.

Maybe you are on to something.

Rooms at SBC might be a good idea and bring new meaning to a home court advantage.

The Spurs are perfectly capable of sucking on home B2Bs, so doing it in LA wouldn't be a stretch.

I am very interested to see how this game pans out.

Detroit was playing 7 games in 10 days, 4 game West Coast road trip, 2nd game of a back to back against Kobe and his teammates.

Easy win last night for you guys (as much as the writers wanted to say it wasnt, but it was). Now, get to play a really good team.

Good luck.

Thanks for the wishes. I wonder if there will be a better crowd there tonight.

You're a genious, I was surprised that you knew how to spell home. And by the way, its not the SBC center (what are YOU on?) its the At&T

Are the ticket prices lower for the Clippers than the Lakers?

I had a feeling this LA team would beat the Spurs. A bittersweet feeling for me since the Clippers are second to the Spurs in my heart.
