How many of you actually play online? I know a lot of you do, but I'm wondering if there is anyone I don't know of?

Oh and Jim, whenever you get a chance lets play some heads up. :)

I don't like to play online. No one takes it seriously. Even tho I play for fake money.

You indeed can. But my understanding is that not many people take the play tables very seriously so its not really much fun.

I occasionally play online, but I really hate the idiots who just go all-in every damn hand to scare everyone. That's just not real Poker. Also, there is just this element that is missing, not seeing their tells. But I do like it on occasion. One of my biggest clients is gambling-related, so after awhile I do get sick of it, though I rarely do any work related to Poker.

I do plan on playing in an ST tournament one day, though.

When I was home for Christmas, my nieces (ages 12 and 8) were after me to play poker with them. So I said, yeah, whatever.

Damn, they actually could play. You couldn't read their faces at all. They didn't know much about how to bet, though, so I had them get $2 each from their mom (my sister) and we went at it all Christmas Day.

Playing with real money, they learned how to fold and check, and the older one started trying to bluff. They learned some draw games.

I was trying to convince them that they could pick up extra cash during recess, but their mom didn't think that was too funny. Besides, craps is better when you have limited time.

If you set it up on the poker site we just played, I'll play. Don't want to do the $50 buy in at pokerstars.

I've lost 60 bucks online if that counts as playing :) That tournament was fun, I'd like to do it again real soon.

I play about four times a week for play money and then about once with a real roll, usually on Party Poker.

:lol

When I was growing up, we had marathon penny poker games at my grandmother's house anytime we got together for anything. I was pretty good ... and always had $$ saved in my winnings jar for the ice cream man. :)

I'm too chicken these days. :oops
