Current standings

Astros
Giants (1/2)
Cubs (1)

Giants up 4-1 on the Padres in the 7th. If they win tonight, they will tie with the Astros for the lead.

Giants face the Dodgers this weekend, who will be fighting for the 2nd spot and homefield in the first round. The Astros face the Rockies, who.... suck.

Things look good for the Astros. But they'll probably find some way to fuck it up and rip my heart out.

Interesting tidbit...

There are two possible three-way tie scenarios at play right now... assuming the Giants and Dodgers win tonight.

If the Giants sweep the Dodgers and the Astros sweep the Rockies... the Giants, Dodgers and Astros will all be tied. The teams would have to play some sort of round robin to determine the Division Winner in the West, and then the Wild Card.

If The Giants and Astros win 2 of 3 this weekend against their respective opponents, and the Cubs sweep the Braves... the Giants, Astros and Cubs would have a three-way tie for the Wild Card.

Couple of long shots, but it could be fun.

If SF sweeps LA and Houston sweeps Colorado, then if SF beats LA for division, then who gets homefield betw LA and Houston in wild card playoff?
