It's not supposed to be an offensive thread. It's just funny to me, because whenever I see Dantoni with that haircut and mustache and his physique it reminds me of Hitler.

I may go to hell for this but the thoughts got stuck in my head and they have to get out somehow:

If you really take a look at the comparison there are similarities. Both men took former contenders that were down and out (Suns/Germany) and turned them around by adding a key piece (Nash/SS) and filling their followers with a singular vision (run and gun/anti-Semitism). They then rose to the top of there regions, in large part due to lack of competition (Pacific division/France and Poland). However once they got to the top (best record in the league/dominance of Europe) they couldn't stay there. After fierce and costly struggles with second rate powers (long series against Mavs/attacking Russia) they were no match for the reigning superpowers of the world (Spurs/America).

History does repeat itself.
