Arizona... where great running backs go to die?

If they can improve their o-line (and protect Warner) the Cards might make a little noise this year. I'm talking 8-8, 9-7.

Who would want to go to Arizona? :lol

I wonder if the Colts will draft a RB now.

Because Dominic Rhodes won't cut it.

Joseph Addai in the 2nd might make sense; I've read scouting reports that says he is the best blocking RB amongst the top RB prospects. Additionally, he is fast, has good pass catching skills, and he has decent size.

That said, I don't think Joseph Addai will be there for Indy at the end of round 2. It would certainly be risky for Indy to wait that long to draft a replacement for Edge.

Yeah, I was listening to the NFL combine a week or 2 ago and they were talking about Addai moving up in the draft. He ran his 40 very fast for his size and plus he can block, catch and run well.

He came along strong for LSU the last couple of games.

Since Indy likes to go pass-wacky in their annual playoff choking and only give their RBs 10-12 carries a game, I don't think it will be too hard for them to replace Edge.

Looks like somebody got a Duck's (as in Lebron hater) scholarship to the NYTimes school of journalism.

Edge alone has 1,004 carries over the past three seasons.

He said "PLAYOFF GAMES". I refer to it as Manning choking season.

For the sake of completeness, in his last 3 playoff games, Edge had 18 (W), 14 (L) and 13 (L) carries.

A sellout? Their professional athletes, not starving artists. How the hell can someone making millions sell out?

Didn't the Cards have the #1 passing offense in the NFL last year with Fitzgerald and Boldin?

Pretty close to it.

If the Cardinals can get an offensive line in front of Warner, Edge, and Fitzy and Quindog, the Cardinals are gonna be damn good.

The defense needs a tad tweaking.

BUT, the Cardinals, are CLOSE.

I'll 2nd that. Denny Green isn't a crappy coach, so I think they could honestly hit 10-6 (with the help of a weak division) next year. I think the Cards are realizing they need some backup in the secondary and on the o-line. If they can address those problems for the long haul of the season, I think that would be attainable.

Oh yeah, and they're finally leaving that craphole known as Sun Devil Stadium and moving into their new digs this year. :)
