I might watch a little bit when I get the chance. Basse is my boy, I watched him grow up during his days in Brooklyn. I think theres a shot of me in the documentary.

i know he sucks right now for being a lottery pick, but hes still young and on a struggling team. but im just saying, watching Sebastian trying to achieve his goal of making it to the pros was pretty interesting and Im happy for him. I think hes got a bright future ahead of him.

yeah me neither. $10 million Adidas endorsement to the eyes of an 18-year-old HS basketball player growing up in Brooklyn is pretty enticing, plus however much the Blazers are paying him. But Im happy for him, I think hes got potential. I think he wouldve been better off being chosen late in the first round and play for better teams, that we he can learn from a good point guard. The Lakers had the 27th pick (i think) and picked Sasha Vujacic. Telfair would be a perfect fit there, learning from Kobe and Phil and work around better players. Even with the Spurs, who we used to pick Beno, I think he could learn a lot from Tony and Manu, and pick up a championship ring along the way. Then later, when hes good enough, trade him away to a team that could get him a starting role, and by then, he would then be a threat in the league. That would be a good alternative to college.

I watched the first hour of it, it was pretty interesting. That sucks how his brother didn't even get drafted when he lead the Big East in scoring.

He should have went to college, but then again, I think he was trying to help his family out by makin it to the NBA and getting that big pay check.

exactly. i wouldve takin the same route. many young kids, especially in NYC dream of playing in the pros to get out of the streets and into the good life. Telfair saw the chance and took it.

I like Telfair he has raw talent, and he will be a great player one day he just needs to develop more

Your Trippin. I would take Telfair over Beno 10 times out of 10.

in fact, had we picked Telfair over Beno if he was avaliable, I think he would be a hell of alot better than Beno. He might have a rusty shot, but that guy has got some mad speed. I saw him play when the Spurs played the Blazers, damn, that kid is fuckin fast.

I watched the movie I thought it was an interesting story. I can understand why he chose to go to the NBA instead of college. I also watched Knight School after that which is a really good show too.

Its always good to hear about somebody getting an opportunity like he did. Good for him. I wish him the best. He made the best decision financially. As far as developing he made the worst. I would have went for the money too. Why? To take care of my family.
