Okay, I've never seen this show. Can you please explain how you can have an entire SERIES on a prison break? Or is it a different prison break every week? How many of these things can you possibly have? Wouldn't they have fired the warden by now?

It is one break.


It would be fairly easy to pick this show apart from a logistical point of view.
I make allowance for the stretches in the series because it is well written and entertaining. That and my whole reason for watching fiction t.v. is to have a break from reality.

Break's characters are compelling to me- some are endearing, others frightening.
The common thread in all of them is that every week I want to know what is going to happen to them.

I am really interested to learn what government conspiracy is behind the one brother's fast approaching execution.
I also like how they writers add depth to the characters by flashing us back to scenes earlier lives.

Character wise: I really like the brothers- Michael and Lincoln- and the prison doctor- Sara.

T-Bag is scary.

Veronica is the reason I started watching the show. I was intrigued because she has my name.

The governor called at the last minute........and didn't grant Lincoln clemency. The Vice President just happened to be standing behind him saying that "he was doing a great thing for his country" for allowing Lincoln to die. For a couple of hamburgers that little punk kid that T-Bag wanted to claim ratted out Scoffield's plan to short out the electric box by putting a dead rat in there. That one gaurd is still being an asshole.

So I just watched the entire first season...what a show! For those people who watch LOST and 24 like myself, you will really like this one too. It is amazing. Any thoughts to what is going to happen now? I cannot believe the plane took off without them in it! AHHHHHHHHHHH


I should have seen that coming. If they make the plane, there is no real reason for a season 2.

I watched 12 second season episodes, and I can say that this show is the best. For me the 1st. season was a little better.

New episodes start in January. I am not sure how much longetr the series will continue after that.
I read back when the series first came out that it was never ended to be a series with tons of seasons.
The writers have a specific story to tell and as soon as they have, the series will end.

Basically, they get away from the police at their escape point. Agent Mahone is not dead, and is sent back into the field(Most likely with his family as leverage, as he told Kim he was quitting). He kills the agent that Kim has sent with him. Kellerman, Lincoln, and Mike go to Montana and bust out the vp's supposed dead breather. They get him and go to a motel somewhere remote. They find out from Kellerman that the vp bro cannot be identified because of facial reconstruction, removal of teeth and fingerprints, and deletion of all records.

Michael calls local news station to turn everyone in. His plan is to get the Vp brother on the news so everyone can be exonerated. VP bro steals a gun and ends up committing suicide.

I too was confused about the relationship between the president and her brother. The implication seemed to be that they were having an affair... creepy.

If memory serves, I read an article that said the whole series has already been written and is designed to last three seasons.

As for previews, Michael, Sarah, and Lincoln are going to try to disappear, looks like Sucre and Bellick catch up with Theodore.

We'll see about that IA guy, I just have sneaking suspicion about him being on the wrong side.

I can see Mahone saying fuck it and helping the brothers out. And it will be interesting to see how Paul comes back into the story.

I have a feeling that about the time that Mahone decides to help the brothers out Paul shows up to kill them, Mahone has given me the feeling from the beginning of the season that he'd end up turning and helping them.

Paul has always been the true villain of the show, although Kim has kind of temporarily taken over that role as of late. Time to get back to the original plot, Paul trying to finish what he started.

I don't think Paul is an all out villian. He is twisted because of Caroline- hopefully his rage at her brings him to his senses.

Yet they load him into a car with his hands free and screwdrivers and wrenches on the floor at his feet. :rolleyes Fernando lets TBag get away when Fernando argues like a little bitch with Michael about what the plans are. :dramaquee This allows TBag to grab a screwdriver on the floor and stab Fernado.

Meanwhile Lincon has that ugly ass Mahone at gunpoint but lets him leg kick him and is now handcuffed by Mahone.

This role reversal crap is getting old. I thought some real progress was finally being made. End it next week. :elephant

Sarah won't be going to prison.
Paul Kellerman entered the courtroom 3 seconds before the start and is supposed to testify on Sarahs behalf and blow the cover on the whole Kim Mahoney ex president deal.

However the season finale highlights had that swarmy Kim about ready to shoot the brothers. Will probably be another uber lame role reversal and they will drag it into next year.

As to whether or not this is it, if the ratings are high no way it ends next week.

The series is already completely written ( I wish I still had that article I read) . I believe they wrap it up next year.

I want to see everything resolved. I will be sad to see the series end, but it needs to in order to maintain its credibility as a hit series.

Yeah. Even though I can record it on the DVR, nothing beats seeing it live.

Mahone is my favorite character. I'm really pulling for that guy. I see him and Michael getting together for a prison break.

Plus, that idiot, oh man what's his name......Sucre, he's gonna end up in that prison once he recovers. You know someone is gonna find his dying ass in the street, he's gonna end up in a coma, and once he recovers he'll end up in prison.

Next season, T-Bag, Michael, Mahone, and that security guard will end up in teh same prison. It's gonna be great watching them work together to break out!

According to Wikipedia, "a town and district in Veraguas Province, Panama". I am guessing that the prison is named after the city, and that Michael and Mahone were intentionally put there so they could escape.

I wonder if Michael's tattoo is gone ( I.E. that Wentworth Miller no longer gets the tatoo applied to him.)

I wonder if any of them will live past the series finale.

I can see it now:

Michael is finally released from prison but just as he is taking his first step beyond the gate, steps on a land mine and dies.

Lincoln thought he had found love again with the once wicked Company agent whatshername.
Unfortunately the chick was just playing him. Lincoln thinks he is going on a romantic mountain view picnic but he is really going to get shoved off the cliff.

A.J. is permanently scarred and jaded by the brutual murder of his mother and unjust death of his brother and uncle.
He decides to turn to a life a crime and hooks up with Agent whatshername who is already pregnant with Lincoln's baby.

I just saw his pictures... He went to Dallas and was at the Kidd Kraddick studios watching the show and from the pictures it looks like they were filming PB on the same canal that the station is located.
