unless the mavs are down by 25 with about 2 min left, don't count them out

This game was a schedule lost. No way the mavs can recover that quickly in Arco Arena with the injuries they have to beat the kings. If anything I'm thinking the mavs would be better letting the Kings get the 6th or 7th spot to avoid that team.

Look at what we just witnessed in the last four minutes, an 8-0 run. Mavs know how to play defense.

He used Popovich's "I'm just going to yell and cuss at the ref for no particular reason to purposely get ejected and fire up my team" Ejection.

Stackhouse is worthless. Completely worthless. I want him gone after this season and I dont care if they replace him with a bucket of KFC.

Yeah, but it's cool....in spite of their crummy play last night, Pistons remain 1.5 games in front.
Still, losses to the Lakers, Kings and Wiz? Oh my GOD, the elite teams are FALLING APART!!! Why are they playing so BAD????

I have mixed feelings about this game. For one the kings give the mavs the toughest matchups of any teams in the first round so losing this game makes the matchup less likely. What sucks is Dallas is likely going to get the 4th seed now.

Dallas on the 2nd night of a back-to-back did a great job of getting back into a game they had no business winning, particularly with their injuries and whatnot. And Dirk had a pretty valid complaint on the rebound before he fouled Thomas -- but then again, Dirk had a ridiculous moving screen on the inbounds play immediately before that shot went up. I'm sure he and Cuban will say something, but that's par for the course.
Back to #1.

Yeah I thought Dirk was had a good complaint. But let's get back to Jewwy.
2 missed wide open three pointers
a stupid charge against bibby
four turnovers
five personal fouls
5-16 from the field
I got to hand it to him. Over the past couple of weeks, he's been consistent. :rolleyes

Moving screen? All I saw was him trying to body up and push Artest back, and getting NOWHERE AT ALL. That was FUNNY. :lol

The Mavs tried to curl someone from the baseline to the top with Dirk setting a screen. All Dirk did was stick his ass out and then start backpedaling.
I have no idea why he'd even try to body Artest. He'd have done better trying to move the goalstand or one of the arena walls.

I have seen plenty of games where he hit big shots and/or shot the team back into the game. You have to take the bad nights with the good ones with Jerry Brickhouse.

I know Piston fans personally who basically tells me that they are never surprised one bit when he has games like this(which was alot I assume when he was with Detroit). In fact, sometimes, they feel sorry for me. :lol
