most teams would take holding nowitzki to 24 on 25 shots. you gotta stay on him and not let him get wide open looks. you can live with him, kobe, lebron, wade etc. shooting 40% as long as they don't get to the line 20+ times.

He's had 1, maybe 2 decent games in the past couple of weeks...other than those games, he's been dreadful to watch. I dread the possession when he gets the ball12-14 seconds or less on the shotclock because he won't give that shit up and lately, he hasn't been able to knock anything down.

When he played here and his shot wasn't falling he would put his head down and take it to the rim and go to the line. Is he taking a ton of jumpers?

Once Stackhouse gets the ball it is 1 on 1 time. No more passing the ball around the perimeter but streetball style.

When he's playing well, that's what he does. But lately, he just hasn't been playing well. Too many jumpers, too many offensive fouls (incredibly obvious ones), too much 1 on 1 ballhog stuff.

I did think the game was officiated like a load of crap although I wouldnt blame the loss on that...I hate when people do that. I kinda smelled this loss coming before the game ever started for some reason. Hopefully we can get back on track on Tuesday. I can't wait to get everybody back. 2 starters out and the loss of DH is bigger than most people realize.

KVH..eh, like to have him back but it's not as bad having him out as it is the other three.

Sacramento would be a horrible team for the #1 seed.

Bibby, Artest, Miller and Wells are all playoff tested veterans. Abdur-Rahim is very good but unknown quantity in the playoffs, but with the pressure off as a bench player he could be very good. Kenny Thomas is a solid starter, rebounds well and can hit the midrange J. Kevin Martin has come along a lot the last 30 games. Jason Hart is ok. Garcia gives them youth and energy and they have some beef and size in Potapenko and Williamson off the bench.

A series between them and Dallas would go 6 games for sure.

I agree with you. They look like a totally different team than I remember from early on in the season. They even played decent defense on _allas.

We've already beat SAC twice this year, including on their home court. They now have Artest, but we have the Rash and we play them for the final time in OUR house.

If the Kings beat LA in Sac on Tuesday night, the Kings will move up to 7 and drop the Lakers to 8. With the way the Grizzlies have been going of late, I think it's quite realistic at this point that Sac could get themselves to 6 and have a great chance to beat Denver in the First Round.
