You should go to college for this. Not that you're always right, but the interest is there. What would the field be? City planning or something like that?

You sound like this guy who called in to the tiket 760 the other day.

They were discussing where to build the new baseball park, and somebody couldn't shut up about how much potential there was on the Westside and how we should do this and that. Sounded realistic...other than me never hearing the names of the highways he mentioned before in my life.

Um, it probably was him.

Nope, never called 760 or been on air with any radio station in my entire life.

The one at 281/Sonterra/1604? That whole area is freaking booming. Stuff is going up every day.

The Best Buy that's going in Legacy is the first of its kind in the country. It will incorporate all of Best Buys normal products, but also have more high end electronics. The center will also have a 4-story condo buildings going in, and some high end retailers and restaurants, along with some pretty shnazy office condos on the second floors of the buildings.

There is a courtyard marriott that will be built on the other side of Sonterra Blvd. next to lifetime. There is suppose to be a borders right next to the mainstreet part of the center. I have quite a few different renderings, one that happens to be facing 1604 and says "Legacy Rising," but it is much more up close. there is suppose to be a starbucks, freebirds, golfsmith, boston pizza, buffalo wild wings, mattress firm and more. the guy i spoke to about the condos said that they were being developed by a highend condo developer out of dallas. he also said that the lifetime fitness has been the highest sales generating lifetime fitness in the chain.

When I first moved out to the Marbach/1604 area in 99, it was awesome. There was nothing out there and it was nice that way.

Now, our house out there is surrounded by other subdivisions. It sucks. I'm glad I'm near downtown because if I'm going to be surrounded by a city I want it to be a city not that surburban bullshit.

I hate the way land is developed now. It has the same boring and bland personality.

When I first started going to Clark, there was nothing on DeZaVala. Now look at that place. Urban Sprawl is ugly.

If Bobby does leave Arlen I hope he goes to San Antonio

I don't like Dallas or Houston

I assume you are talking about the Best Buys with Magnolia Home Theater centers in them. http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp;jsessionid=IRVMOZIX1VE03KC4D3HFAGA?typ e=category&cmp=&id=pcmcat42900050008

The Best Buy that just opened at "The Rim" has this.

Its about time Best Buy got some decent Home Theater equipment, although they are still missing a few elite brands. Between Circuit City and Best Buy, though, you can find all the "elite" mid-level brands (neither of course are going to sell the REAL elite brands... but few can afford them anyway).

It's just a matter of time until the entire Hill Country is paved over.

Thanks. The renderings are cool. When is it supposed to be finished?

And not to get off subject, but I haven't heard anything about that Film Council and all those plans they had for SA. What happened to that?
