Spurs need a win here. Another loss and the city of San Antonio starts to panic.

the thing is, the refs might want to "equalize" those calls later..
Yeah, but the calls in the first half are ususally decisive when they all go to one team. (My theory)
I remember when we played the Lakers in the playoffs some years ago and they got a 24-2 edge in fouls in the first half. By the end of the game, the fouls had somewhat evened up--but the point advantage the refs gave the lakers in those first two quarters couldn't be made up by a bunch of non-shooting fouls later on.
When a team gets so far behind, it's hard for them to catch up going uphill.

i get what you mean. what i'm talking about though is those "equalizer" calls may cost a team a game especially if it's a tight one

The Kiwi reminds me of that autistic kid. He doesn't play but comes in at the end of the game and makes a shot. The Kiwi can shoot the pelota.

26 assists on 33 fg!! Damn!
Good rebounding.
Brent playing out of his mind.
Nazr, minus a couple of defensive lapses, played great.

This should be at the beginning of the blog but I was at work and could posted it.
I was watching the Coyote practice last night. He was practicing making baskets when one of his attempts got stuck in between the rim and the backboard.
The Coyote and his assistant tried unsuccessfully half a dozen times between them to get it down.
On their second to last attempt Fabri came out. He saw them try and the Coyote hang his head/ stomp his foot when they failed.
Fabri went over to the Coyote and patted him on his arm saying that he would get it.
Fabri walks over to the basket and retrieves the ball on the first try. He brings the ball over to the Coyote, smiles, and gives the Coyote a big hug.
I thought it was cute. :)

Meanwhile behind the scenes, I had to take someone to the hospital after the game ended AND had to quit that job due to extraordinary circumstances. Stinks cause I liked watching the opponents leave after the were beat by the BEST in the WEST....
