Cavs are perfectly capable of blowing big leads, and Mavs have come back from a few big deficits this year. Don't get happy just yet.

Holy Shit! We do other (Mavs and Pistons mostly) game threads on here all the time. Especially when it pertains to HCA. Get with the program. With 10K+ posts I'd think you'd realize that :lol

Cavs should just be removed from the league. Every year is the same. Strong first half, followed by a shitty second half.

:lol @ Cavs. outscored 27-8 in the third. Tie Game

That was atrocious!! Why couldn't the Spurs do that to them earlier this season? The Cavs are a joke!!!

And they say Dallas can't play defense.
Seriously, although the Spurs are without a doubt the cream of the crop in the West, these Mavs are scary. Remember, they're without Harris, Howard, Van Horn and Griffin.. all of whom are a BIG part of the team.

I like Marquis Daniels. I really do. But he should not be bricking multiple shots while Dirk Friggin Nowitzki is in the game.

Daniels>Stackhouse. Stackhouse has been a brick this game. Don't blame Daniels.

adrienne
03-14-2006, 10:29 PM
Blame Daniels? I'm not blaming him for them only being up two, but he's the only one I can blame for missing his own shots.

Dirk can't do it all by himself but it has been close. Daniels needs to be that interior threat, Terry outside threat, and Dirk mid range threat. That is what seems to get Dallas back.

I'm surprised nobody has pointed this out yet: Cavs Suck.

Actually Brown and Ferry truly have modeled them after the 2003 Spurs in their ability to blow leads.

James is a beast. He was actually clutch tonight. The rest of his teammates didn't step it up. Who the hell is the Cavs coach? He didn't adjust or call any timeouts in the 3rd quarter to even stop the Mavs momentum.

It's pretty obvious which of the 2 he is to all but Mavs fans. ;)

Hint: Steve Nash is the real Most Valuable Player. Kobe is #2.

Dirk isn't even in the top 5.

Wow and weren't the Mavs without 2 of their starters????? How can the Cavs still manage to lose after leading by 19 at the half?

And people already want to compare LJ to MJ :rolleyes

You have got to be kidding me. You're one of those Spurs fans that has Tim Duncan as a top MVP candidate despite his mediocre season (as far as Duncan goes), aren't you? Followed by Tony Parker, and Manu Ginobili of course. :rolleyes

That's disgusting. James just keeps blowing these leads and along with that, his crediblity as a true superstar. Just once, I'd like to see James put up the kind of clutch performances I see out of Carmello Anthony and Dwayne Wade in alomst every close game they're in.

mavsfan1000

James was on fire in that first half. Don't know what happened to him at halftime but he needs to do something different to be better prepared for the second half.

you know what happens. the oppone t doubles lebron. lebron makes the right choice and pases, but the open guy can't make the shot. all the cavs suck on d, and they lose their leads.

Seriously, you cannot put this loss on James. He did what he was suppose to do. He made his shots. It's too bad his teammates didn't make jumpshots and tipins. James had a hell of a night, but he can't do it by himself, yet.
