Another reason to like them: they thumb their noses at the Church Ladies running the fucking FCC these days.

I was driving home and listening to Semi Charmed Kind of Life, and they actually played the line "Doing crystal meth will lift you up until you break". NO ONE plays that version anymore. Standard corporate-bot radio stations distort the words crystal meth.

Actually, these radio stations (Bob, Jack, etc.) embody "corporate bot"... They're all owned by the large media conglomerates and they were created in order to get away from the appearances and promotions that most radio stations do for advertisers. They can afford to do this because they're not paying DJs or Promotion teams, and their sales staffs are small.

They basically build a playlist based on the target audience and set it on "shuffle". Throw in a few cute station promos and you've got a good money maker with very little overhead.

"These days"? When were unedited versions of music allowed on the radio? Not that I care, it sounds like a good station either way.

No shit, Rock is fading. All you hear everywhere is hip-hop and I can't stand 98% of hip hop.

Its just another example of "the man" holding us down. What about having the people decide what they want to listen as opposed to having the government control it?

Is it hard work coming off as retarded as you are?

"Doing crystal meth will lift you up until you break" is vulgar? It's a cautionary tale NOT to do crystal meth. Yeah, let's cut the part about discouraging kids from doing drugs because it actually contains the name of the drug. Fuckwits.

Is it hard work being as big a fucking asshole as you are??No, you make it quite easy. In one thread, you're talking about how awesome Johnny Cash is and in the next you're complaining about Vulgarity on the radio? Are you aware of who Johnny Cash is? Are you aware of what he stood for and the type of person he was?

No, you're an idiot who loves open his mouth and run it without understanding what he is saying.

Well, Johnny Cash and I have your vulgarity right here.

Joe Anthony's 99.5 KISS & the 80's 90's versions of KROQ in LA & 91X in SD are the top 3 formats I've ever listened to.

Although, MARS FM in the very early 90's time frame was a top 10. Not for most though.
