I got a good deal when I went to Direct TV. I got like three rooms and all the channels I needed plus HBO and some other channels for three months free. I only paid like $40/month. Two years later I am still satisfied and the bill I got yesterday was for $51.

Was that directly through them? It seems like SBC charges for installation and everytihng. These other places waive that fee.

I wasn't charged for installation. I wasn't charged for the equipment neither. I was charged for each additional receiver, which in my case was two. The first one was free. I got charged on my first bill. I didn't pay the man jack.

They are legit.

The satellite company gives them money to hook you up and in turn, they give you a special offer to get your business.

Dude.. I got the 4 room deal for free and my bill is like 60 bucks, down from the 100, I was donating to Time Warner.
