After todays game and given the local of the event, the following might be more accurate...

Nova > Arizona

Villanova played as good as it ever could, at home and against a team that is missing it's best bench scorer and 3-point shooter (McClellan) and barely pulled out the win.

They shot better than their season average from everywhere on the floor and did so by making some incredably tough shots. Those shots won't fall all the time. Meanwhile, Arizona just played smart, half-court ball.

One shot, made or missed either way and this game has a different outcome more than likely.

I'm not one to gripe about officiating, but those refs swallowed their whistles so much that renowned Arizona-hater, Billy Packer, was saying the refs were favoring Villanova. From non-call travels, to non-call double-dribbles, to a blatent non-call on a goaltend by clark, Arizona hung in to the end.

BTW, if that goaltend (Clark rebounded a layup attempt after it hit the backboard) is called, then +2 to Arizona's score and -3 from Villanova's ensuing transition three-pointer.

It was a five-point swing that serisouly hurt Arizona's chance at a comeback.

Arizona gets the gaoltend, it's a two-point game. Instead they don't and it remains a 4-point game until the transition three the other way sinks home.

Again, Arizona had it's chances, but could make the three when they needed it.

But Villanova is not >>>>>>>>> better than Arizona.

They just aren't.

Great game though and won that kept my Final Four intact!

My biggest losses were Kansas and Illinois into the Elite 8.

However, of the Sweet 16, I have just 9 of my selections left.
