In English class today we analyzed the painting "Night Hawks" which is the background for the Club Banner ^^^^^^^^ and compared it to the Grapes of Wrath. I was suprised I'm like hey it's Spurstalk.com.

I used to have a framed print. It was nice untill someone stepped thru in when we moved one time. :(

Actually ... I was surfing at my daughter's softball game last night and that was the first time it wouldn't load. Not a big deal at all ... it finally gave up and just gave me a little red "X", but I could still read the forum. :)

Does anyone else remember the old Parker Brothers Masterpiece game? Nighthawks was one of the paintings in it. Everything I know about art I learned from that game.

Do you know which browser is in your Treo? (just so that I can check if it's a code error). Maybe there's a setting that prevent the automatic download of pics above a certain size? (my now quite old Palm with Opera browser was like that).

On my Nokia 9300 I have the pics disabled so if I want to see them I need to do it manually - it save me a lot of bandwidth.

The browser is Blazer 4.0. And while I was looking I found where to disable images. :lol


I was actually kind of impressed with it ... it was downloading at 340K last night. :)

Thats considered an "old" game already??
My mom just bought it when I was 12.. (ok, now that I thin kabout it that was 13 yrs ago.. but still) and we still play it all the time when we get together as a family. That and monopoly and trvial pursuit.

Well, it came out in 1970. I don't even know if it's still sold in stores.

You had to use the color, the lighting, the mood, the tone, the setting and objects in the painting that could have a correlation with the book.
