The Flagship station of the SA Spurs has a website for spurs fans called spurs talk. Recently, like within 4 days, there was a poster who was looking for some MOJO for the Spurs. His idea was a "bra expose'". At the behest of Kori Ellis, a loyal Spurs fan who moderates the site, the very loyal Spurs fans who are female slowly complied and it was an instant success. On the first day of the thread, Mojo was put on Texas, who won on a last second shot vs West Virginia, UCLA who made the amazing comeback, and on Golden State, who beat Dallas despite 52 by Dirk Nowitzki. Later, the MOJO was put to the test with LSU, who won as well.

Please check out the energetic thread at spurstalk.com It is taking off and the NBA fans are being drawn in to see it (gee, I wonder why).

No one in my family seems to have a good grasp on our history. I know that my grandmother's maiden name was campbell and that her family moved from Canada to Tennessee. How or why they did, I do not know.

Last night I was telling LJ that I was going to turn this Bravatar idea into something to help breast cancer research. My sister had it when she was 36 (she's fine now) and it's something important to me.

So my idea was that I was going to pledge a certain amount of money per post in this thread to give to a breast cancer research foundation.

Then, I come home for playing (read: winning) poker and all hell as broken loose.

So I locked a thread and then went to sleep at 5am and when I woke up this morning, y'all had made everything so unnecessarily worse.

Here's some guidelines for the future, if you ever have a question about a post that is locked or deleted, email or message me and I'll answer you when I get online.

There's nothing that pisses me off more than people trying to be wannabee moderators starting new threads questioning why something is locked or telling other posters what to do, etc.

As for the breast cancer charity thing, I'm deciding what my actual pledge will be. Maybe some of you will participate as well.

What a great idea Kori! Both my grandmother and my aunt battled Breast Cancer and won. I know there are alot of people out there that aren't as blessed as I am to say that. My funds are limited but I will do what I can to help a cause that's close to my heart.

my stepgranmother died of Breast cancer. She refused to go to hospice and spent her last weeks at home with us as a family. She was such a strong woman and a wonderfull lady.

Great idea, Kori - although since I'm po' (college is a bitch) I'd be happy to donate a certain amount of time per post to volunteer for breast cancer charity. Several women in my family have struggled with it, so it's a cause pretty close to me.

Actually there's a post from SW that explains the technicality of the Mojo (something about static and stuff). Apparently we need a reliable and constant flow of Mojo.

I know this has been kind of goofy and fun, but I've gotta say that it's really affected me in a totally different way. I've really hated my boobs for a long time, in a way that I've hated my body for a long time. And now I'm doing something to change my body, and I still don't like it, and that's especially gone for the boobs. But this has been a lot of fun and it's really made me feel better about my boobs and my body overall. I see it a little more like my husband does, and that's a good thing. So even though it's inadvertant, a side effect to the mojo . . . I appreciate it.
