Update: Walker, who missed last season after undergoing knee surgery, is demanding to be traded and threatening to retire at age 27, the Houston Chronicle reports.
Recommendation: Walker is putting his house on the market and not planning to play the last year of his five-year contract. The Packers insist they aren't going to trade Walker, who fired agent Drew Rosenhaus and replaced him with Kennard McGuire.

They may as well trade him to get something out of him.

Yeah, it would be stupid if they don't trade him as he is leaving no matter what.

If you really think he'd retire, you're a bigger moron than I thought. And that is saying a lot, because I think you are a pretty big moron.

No. It means he is not going to play for the Packers. Look who is the moron now.

He's under contract... he can't just "leave no matter what." He can either 1) play for the Packers 2) sit on his ass for a year or two and not collect a dime (and commit career suicide) or 3) hope some team decides to pony up a 2nd or 3rd rounder for a malcontent WR who had 1 good season.
It doesn't cost the Packers a thing to let him stay home, they have the luxury to let him rot.
And don't worry, you are still the moron.
