Does anyone on this team know how to block out?

No one on this team seemingly knows the fundamentals of "blocking out" the opposition. This is something I've been watching since the game in Philadelphia earlier this year, when Finley failed to "block out" Iguodola, leaving a clear path to the basket for a game winning score in overtime.

I'm so sick of seeing the opposition consistently swoop in for offensive rebounds and uncontested putbacks.

It's just as troubling watching the Spurs double off on opposing players and leaving a clear path to the basket for another opponent. They usually play great individual and team defense. To me, it's not necessary to double a guy on every possession or double up on an inferior offensive player.

Why leave a guy under the basket to go help double a guy in the corner or on the wing? The Sonics have no superstar post player, so in my mind, there's no reason to double Lewis or Ridenour on the perimeter.

It's just sickening to watch. They f*cking gave this game away.

After a timeout, Ginobili tried to inbound to Duncan, but Petro got a hand on the pass and Rashard Lewis came up with the ball. Intentionally fouled, Lewis missed his second free throw, but got the rebound after the ball skipped off Ginobili's hands

Lucky break for them. Ginobilli is one of the best clutch rebounders I can remember. He always seems to come up with key boards at the end of games.
