I guess they are over confident that they beat the Pistons last nite, 2 elite teams back to back

I doubt it but they are definitely better than I thought they would be. I thought their frontcourt would be too weak for them to a threat to any team.

Nenad Krstic is pretty good, he has improved a lot this season.

He has 21 points on 7-11 shooting, not bad.

Steve Nash is an asshole. He hasn't made a shot all night, 0 points, 5 assists. My fantasy team doesn't need this to advance in the play-offs.

Nenad Kristc is looking good out there, wish the Spurs would have gotten him

Very impressive B2B by the Nets.

Larry Brown owes Lawrence Frank an apology for Larry's snobby, catty comment that "now just anybody" can be an NBA coach when Frank was hired by the Nets.

D'antoni took out his starters to say the bench lost or what?

I wonder what excuse will the phx fans have this time, they got amare, nash, marion and still getting blown out by 40pts lol

Real puzzling for Phoenix. It was not even a back-to-back. The Phoenix boardposters are preparing the shower rods tonight.

Uhhh no excuses for this one, it was a totaly disgusting ball game.

How in the world could you come up with an excuse for this one? Has a team ever shot at a clip less than 27% this season?

Nobody at work agrees with me when I say the Nets are the second best team in the East.... VC, RJ, Kidd trio is killer, and Nenad is better than he gets credit for...

Suns could't hit the broad side of a barn while Carter was making 30+ foot threes and both Kidd and Robinson were banking 3's. The Suns looked like crap.

Sorry about that, JMJ. Back away from the shower rod, buddy. Maybe it was one of those "cleansing losses". :lol

Nash must have been too tired from dancing all night at Fortson's birthday party.

Sorry, Suns fans ... you're in good company (in regards to the last 2 nights anyway)

Hopefully the Nets pick it up and give the Pistons a tough series in the playoffs.

Amare needs to sitPERIOD

He's not himself and shows no signs of every regaining that ability this year.

One good game, two horrible ones. He says his leg is stiff and sore.

Enough already. It was a noble idea, but it no longer helps Amare or the team.

That's the first thing of note.

Second, Suns were missing everything. I'm not sure how much was them or Jersey's defense? Can't really say, but everyone should expect them to be the one with 120 points very soon.

One game with one lasting image.

Not the score, but Amare gimping up and down the court.

Amare and Nash were 0-fer from the field.

"Amare and Nash were 0-fer from the field."

Not only that, neither of them went to the FT line .. 0 points for each!

JMJ, is Amare's soreness due to lack of conditioning or is the knee not fully healed yet?

Agreed, if Amare's hurting and stiff, his body is telling him to stop.

Hornets/WC9 and Jazz/WC10 are having a good, close game @UTA.

Jazz have the better stats and +5 pts for the first half.

I can't believe they are playing Amare at like 50%.

That is just wrong.

JMarkJohns
03-27-2006, 10:32 PM
I can't be 100% sure of the reason, since I can only go on what he's telling the media, but he has admitted he'll be guarded about atacking the backet because he doesn't have the confidense in the leg to be explosive.

That's his play.

About the leg, I'm sure the stiffness is from being thrown into game situations too fast while the soreness is probably because his knee isn't used to any of this action yet.

Stiffness related to too much, too soon.
Soreness related to overall.

I remember him complaining of soreness two weeks ago from just practice. His knee just isn't used to activity yet.

It's the stiffness that concerns me.

Nets on another winning streak- 9 games, I think.
They had the 10-game streak until the Spurs beat them in January.

Kudos to the Nets! Beating two top elite teams in a row is quite a feat.

I think amare is doing more damage to the suns than he's actually helping...

one thing that is noticeable is, since his return he's disrupted the team's chemistry by changing the rotation...they barely won at denver this last time with a horrible shooting night as well...and tonight they fell deep into that shooting hole....again

tsk.tsk.tsk

Kidd does not usually have much success against Nash. Last week when the Nets beat the Mavs, that was the first time in about 6 years.

Steve Nash, who had not lost to Jason Kidd since Phoenix traded Kidd to New Jersey in 2001,

Notice how his team gets trounced when he has a bad game? It's called value and it's what the "V" in "MVP" represents.

There's an excuse for everything. Nash's value was very negative in this as he got owned by Jason Kidd. When you look at the rosters Nash actually has the better lineup than Dirk
Marion>Josh Howard
Diaw>Dampier
Bell>Daniels
Terry>Barbosa
Harris>House. So in that way of thinking about it the suns actually have more even without Amare but Dirk is the man.
