Come on man its like 15 years old and doesn't go with any of the other intro stuff. We need something that takes us away from the hemisfair arena days. Im not talking about puttin some booty music or heavy metal but something that isnt older than some of the teenagers at the game.

Nothing wrong with the Hemisfair Arena days. Besides, isn't it about the basketball?

For legal purposes the Spurs organization must ask if it's fans are ready for this before beginning a ball game. If they started and someone was in fact not ready for this the results could be devastating and leave them open to considerable liability litigation.

Try throwing a grito in a facility with only 3/400 fans in attendance during a women's basketball game.

It's pretty funny to see the looks into the student section - which included all of five people.

yeah, but you have to admit the song is kinda embarassing. Update it already. Some "arena" songs are timeless (We Will Rock You), but Ya'll Ready just screams "hammer pants and Spurs fiesta color logo". :lol

embarassing to who? the fans? the team? Personally I could care less what it is and I am pretty sure the players don't care...they are probably focusing on the game. At least I hope so.

Nice.

I was going for "Party Up" but that would work too.

I always thought it was funny when in the playoffs when the Spurs were on the road the home team would play the Imperial March (Darth Vader theme) when the Spurs were announced like it was supposed to be all evil and shit. Personally I think its cool. :)

I'm a traditionalist. I like hearing the rhythmic beats of "Eye of the Tiger," the trumpets of "Final Countdown" (ESPECIALLY THIS ONE), and signing "Shout" as the jumbotron shows the scene from Animal House.

However, I don't like "Y'All ready for this" because it seems like such an obvious (and overused) choice. Who's next - Ace of Base, Aqua, or Chumbawamba?

Yeahhhhh! Something to instill fear. Something like this:

We've got fans outside to kill you
If you beat our Spurs tonight
They'll knife you and they'll drill you
If you don't treat us right

You probably think you're bad
And wanna screw our dance team
But Brothers you've been had
Just take a look and scream.

Around the league you say we're soft
Don't bring that shit in here
Cause the guys your're pissing off
Are outside chugging beer.

No, not really. I still get chills when I hear the trumpets blare the intro to Europe's "Final Countdown." The first time I heard it in the lineup, the players included:

Isiah Thomas
Joe Dumars
Dennis Rodman
Bill Laimbeer
James Edwards.

Although it's a song about a spaceship leaving earth, the lyrics are horrific, and it's one of those "awesomely bad" videos by VH1, the trumpets, the :30 seconds the Pistons play is enough to get me fired up.

"Heart of the Sunrise" by Yes would be pretty shocking and badass.

I always thought teams miss an opportunity when they introduce the opposing team. Instead of nothing or something sinister like "The Emporer's March" they could put on something fruity like "The Elephant Waltz" or maybe Beck's "Loser" before they come out.
